Short Name:LeHSU
Organism:Solanum lycopersicum (formerly Lycopersicon esculentum)
Library Name: Tomato shoot subtractive cDNA library for heat-shock up-regulated genes
Total Sequences: 122 sequences from 122 clones
Average Sequence Length:725.2 (Standard deviation 123.9)
Type:cDNA Library
Tissue:shoots
Development Stage:Three weeks old
Treatment Conditions:
Cloning Host:DH5a
Cloning Kit:
CommentsVector: pGEM-Teasy, The subtractive library was created by using mRNA purified from tomato shoots with or without heat-shock treatment. Tomato shoots were harvested from plants of 3 weeks old seedlings grown on MS medium. Plants were heat-treated by incubated at 40 degree C in the dark for 2 h followed by recovery at room temperature for 30 min. Library of up-regulated cDNA was generated by subtracting the heat-treated mRNA with non-treated ones.
